KLIPY Game Jam 2026 – Official Rules

1. Sponsor
The KLIPY Game Jam 2026 (the "Contest") is sponsored by KIKLIKO, Inc., located at 505 Montgomery St, Suite 1100, San Francisco, CA 94111 ("Sponsor" or "KLIPY").
2. Eligibility
The Contest is open to individuals who:
- Are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry;
- Are legally permitted to participate in the Contest and receive a prize under applicable law; and
- Are not prohibited from participating or receiving payment under applicable U.S. sanctions or other applicable legal restrictions.
The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Employees, officers, directors, contractors, and agents of Sponsor and its affiliates, as well as members of their immediate families and households, are not eligible to participate.
Sponsors may require proof of identity, age, residency, eligibility, or other information reasonably necessary to verify a potential winner.
3. Contest Period
The Contest begins on September 29, 2026 at 12:00 AM Pacific Time and ends on October 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time (the "Contest Period").
Sponsor's systems and server records will serve as the official timekeeping method for the Contest.
4. How to Enter
To enter the Contest, participants must complete the following steps during the Contest Period:
1. Download or open the KLIPY mobile application.
2. Create or sign in to a registered KLIPY account.
3. Access the official KLIPY Game Jam experience through the designated Game Jam banner or event page inside the KLIPY app.
4. Generate a Game through the official Game Jam experience.
5. Publish the Game on KLIPY so that other users can play and engage with it.
Only Games generated and published through the official Game Jam experience during the Contest Period are eligible.
Games created before the Contest Period or outside the official Game Jam experience are not eligible for prizes.
There is no limit on the number of eligible Games an entrant may submit. However, each entrant may win only one (1) prize.
5. Winner Determination
Winners will be determined based on the number of valid Likes received by each eligible Game during the Contest Period.
At the conclusion of the Contest Period:
- The eligible Game with the highest number of valid Likes will receive the 1st Place Prize.
- The eligible Game with the second-highest number of valid Likes will receive the 2nd Place Prize.
- The eligible Game with the third-highest number of valid Likes will receive the 3rd Place Prize.
Only Likes that Sponsor determines to be genuine and compliant with these Official Rules will be counted.
Sponsor's records regarding Likes, engagement, eligibility, and Contest activity will be final for purposes of determining winners.
Tie-Breaker
If two or more eligible Games have the same number of valid Likes for a prize position, the Game with the highest overall valid engagement will rank higher.
For purposes of the tie-breaker, overall engagement may include the combined total of valid Likes, comments, and remixes recorded during the Contest Period.
If a tie remains, Sponsor may use additional objective platform engagement metrics to determine placement.
6. Prizes
The following prizes will be awarded:
- 1st Place: $300 USD
- 2nd Place: $150 USD
- 3rd Place: $50 USD
The total approximate retail value of all prizes is $500 USD.
One Prize Per Entrant
Each entrant may receive only one (1) prize.
If multiple Games submitted by the same entrant rank within the top three, the entrant will receive only the highest-value prize for which they qualify.
The next highest-ranked eligible Game submitted by a different entrant will move into the remaining prize position.
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted by a winner.
Sponsor may substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
7. Fair Play and Prohibited Conduct
Sponsor is committed to maintaining a fair Contest.
Entrants may not artificially manipulate Likes, comments, remixes, or any other engagement metric.
Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:
- Bots, scripts, macros, automated systems, or automated accounts;
- Click farms or engagement farms;
- Purchased Likes, comments, remixes, or other engagement;
- Incentivizing third parties to artificially generate engagement;
- Coordinated like-trading or engagement-manipulation schemes;
- Creating or using fake, duplicate, or burner accounts to generate engagement;
- Attempting to manipulate KLIPY's systems, rankings, metrics, APIs, or Contest functionality;
- Any activity designed to create engagement that does not reflect genuine user activity.
Sponsor may review, audit, exclude, or invalidate any engagement that it reasonably determines to be fraudulent, automated, purchased, duplicated, coordinated, manipulated, or otherwise inconsistent with these Official Rules.
Sponsor may review information reasonably necessary to investigate suspected abuse, including account activity, account age, device information, IP information, and engagement patterns, subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Sponsor may disqualify any entrant or Game that violates these Official Rules, KLIPY's Terms of Service, or applicable law.
8. Content Requirements
Games submitted to the Contest must comply with KLIPY's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and other applicable platform policies.
Entrants may not submit content that:
- Infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of another person or entity;
- Contains unlawful content;
- Violates KLIPY's platform policies;
- Is generated or submitted using fraudulent or abusive methods; or
- Is otherwise ineligible under these Official Rules.
Sponsor may remove or disqualify any Game that violates these requirements.
Participation in the Contest does not change the rights and licenses applicable to user-generated content under KLIPY's Terms of Service.
9. Winner Notification and Verification
Potential winners will be contacted using the email address associated with the KLIPY account that submitted the winning Game.
Potential winners must respond within 48 hours after Sponsor sends the winner notification.
Potential winners may be required to provide information reasonably necessary to:
- Verify identity;
- Verify age and eligibility;
- Confirm ownership of the KLIPY account;
- Process prize payment; and
- Complete any legally required tax or compliance documentation.
If a potential winner:
- Does not respond within the required period;
- Cannot be contacted;
- Does not provide requested verification information;
- Is determined to be ineligible; or
- Has violated these Official Rules,
the potential winner may forfeit the prize.
In that case, Sponsor may award the prize to the next highest-ranked eligible entrant.
10. Prize Payment
Prizes are expected to be delivered within 10 business days following successful winner verification.
Sponsor may provide prizes using PayPal, bank transfer, wire transfer, or another payment method selected by Sponsor based on availability, location, and applicable legal requirements.
Winners are responsible for providing accurate payment information.
Any costs associated with receiving a prize, including bank fees, currency conversion fees, or similar charges, may be the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise required by law.
11. Taxes
Winners are solely responsible for all taxes, fees, reporting obligations, and other governmental charges associated with accepting or receiving a prize.
Sponsor may request tax documentation or other information where required by applicable law.
12. Privacy
Information collected in connection with the Contest may be used by Sponsor to administer the Contest, verify entrants and winners, prevent fraud, communicate with participants, deliver prizes, and comply with applicable legal requirements.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with KLIPY's Privacy Policy.
13. Apple and Google Disclaimer
This Contest is sponsored solely by KIKLIKO, Inc.
Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of, responsible for, or otherwise involved in the Contest.
The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc., Google LLC, the Apple App Store, or Google Play.
By participating, entrants acknowledge that Apple Inc. and Google LLC have no responsibility or liability for the administration of the Contest or the awarding of prizes.
14. General Conditions
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to comply with these Official Rules and Sponsor's reasonable decisions regarding Contest administration, eligibility, fraud prevention, and winner verification.
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone, cancel, or terminate the Contest if circumstances outside Sponsor's reasonable control materially affect the fairness, security, integrity, or proper operation of the Contest.
Such circumstances may include technical failures, security incidents, platform outages, fraud, abuse, unauthorized intervention, legal or regulatory requirements, or other events affecting Sponsor's ability to conduct the Contest as intended.
If the Contest is modified, suspended, or terminated, Sponsor may determine winners from eligible entries received before the affected event where reasonably possible.
Sponsor's failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision.
15. Release and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, entrants agree that Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents will not be responsible for losses, damages, injuries, claims, or liabilities arising from or related to:
- Participation in the Contest;
- Acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize;
- Technical failures or interruptions;
- Lost, delayed, corrupted, or incorrectly recorded Contest activity;
- Unauthorized third-party activity; or
- Events outside Sponsor's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Official Rules excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
16. Governing Law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Official Rules and the Contest will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute relating to the Contest will be subject to the dispute-resolution provisions contained in KLIPY's applicable Terms of Service, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
