These Guidelines are here to help keep KLIPY.COM a creative, respectful, and enjoyable space for discovering, generating, and sharing GIFs, clips, stickers, memes, and other content. By using our Services, you’re agreeing to play by these rules. We may revise these Guidelines as the digital landscape evolves or new issues arise.
Introduction
KLIPY.COM aims to offer a fun and secure environment for users to engage with top-tier visual content across formats like GIFs, clips, memes, and more. Because of the public nature of the Services, users should take care when posting or sharing content. These Guidelines, along with our Terms of Service, lay out the standards we expect everyone to follow. We routinely adjust our policies in response to trends, expert advice, and community feedback.
1. KLIPY Core Principles:
Be Positive: Content on KLIPY’s Services is meant to spark fun and creativity. Content created to insult, hurt, or intimidate others isn’t welcome.
Honor Consent: Make sure you have the proper permissions before sharing images or videos featuring other people. Respect their privacy.
Acknowledge Creators: When using content made by others, use KLIPY’s built-in tools to give credit where it’s due. Creators deserve recognition.
Share Responsibly: Only share content in ways that follow applicable laws and respect intellectual property rights, privacy, and the rules specific to KLIPY’s Services.
2. Content Limitations – What’s Not Welcome on KLIPY:
Sexually Explicit Content: Uploading content showing sexual activity or overt nudity is not allowed. (Some artistic, educational, or natural depictions such as breastfeeding may be reviewed case-by-case.)
Real-World Violence: Content portraying genuine physical harm, including death, gore, or assault, is strictly prohibited. Stylized or fictionalized violence may be permitted if it does not depict actual harm.
Self-Injury: Content promoting or encouraging self-harming behavior, including suicide, disordered eating, or self-mutilation, is not permitted.
Animal Abuse: Any content that shows cruelty or harm toward animals will be removed.
Targeted Harassment: Content designed to intimidate, stalk, threaten, or harass individuals or groups is not allowed.
Discriminatory Speech: We do not tolerate content that attacks or demeans anyone based on characteristics such as race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
Extremism or Terrorism: Any content glorifying or promoting extremist views or terrorism is prohibited.
Disinformation: False or misleading content that poses risks of harm in the real world, including conspiracy theories, is not acceptable.
Graphic Medical Material: Excessively detailed depictions of injuries or medical procedures are not permitted unless clearly justified for educational purposes.
Illegal Conduct: Content that promotes or glorifies unlawful activity, fraud, or deception is not allowed on the Services.
Private Data: Do not post content that reveals personal data such as phone numbers, home addresses, or login credentials.
Search Abuse: Truthful and non-spammy business promotion is okay, but misleading tags or attempts to manipulate how content is discovered are not.
Intellectual Property Violations: Content which infringes third party intellectual property rights or other third party rights is not allowed on the Services.
Spam and Disruption: Content may not be deceptive, manipulative, or otherwise spammy or disruptive. Content which primarily promotes social media accounts is automatically treated as spam.
Low-Quality Content: We strive for a high-quality content library that looks great on every screen. Content that is overly pixelated, blurry, stretched, or has a very low frame rate is undesirable. Before uploading, please ensure your creations are clear and rendered at a quality that provides a good viewing experience for others. The clearer your content, the more likely it is to be promoted, highly rated, shared and enjoyed by the community.
Animation and Formatting Issues: The magic of a GIF is in its motion. Content that fails to animate, contains excessive static elements, or is formatted in a way that is difficult to view is undesirable. This also includes content where text is too small to be legible on a mobile device or where the animation is so fast it becomes unwatchable. Your creations should be easy to understand and visually effective at a glance in order to be promoted, highly rated, shared, and enjoyed by the community.
Content Intended for Personal Use: The Services are a public platform for sharing content with a wide audience. Content that appears to be for personal use and not intended for the broader community may be set to private or removed. This includes screen recordings of private conversations, personal photos or videos with no wider context, inside jokes, or other visuals that would not be relevant or useful to other KLIPY users. Irrelevant Titles, Tags, and Descriptions:Accurate titles and tags are essential for making content discoverable. Misleading metadata hurts the search experience for everyone. Content with titles, tags, or descriptions that are not relevant to the visual will be rejected or have its metadata edited by our team. Do not "tag-stuff" your content with popular but unrelated keywords to gain views. Ensure your tags accurately describe the actions, emotions, and subjects in your content so the right audience can find and share it.
3. Spam and Disruption:
To ensure a positive and authentic experience for everyone, we prohibit any activity that disrupts the KLIPY ecosystem. The Services are for sharing expressive content, not for manipulation or deceptive promotion. Disruptive activity includes, but is not limited to, artificially inflating views and engaging in quid pro quo schemes (e.g., "follow for follow").
4. Enforcement & Additional Rules:
Ongoing Updates: These guidelines may shift over time to adapt to changing content norms and user behavior. We’ll try to keep the community informed of major updates.
Account Limitations: Accounts or channels created to violate these rules or evade enforcement may be restricted or disabled.
Integration Compliance: Any use of our API or SDK in external apps must not be used to distribute or support content or activities which are in violation of these Community Guidelines.
How We Enforce: We use both human reviewers and technology to review reports and moderate content. Violations may result in takedowns, temporary suspensions, API/SDK revocations, or permanent bans.
Appeals: Think we got it wrong? You can appeal moderation decisions. Appeal instructions will be provided when action is taken on your account or content. Decisions on appeal are final, including a decision not to further review the original moderation decision. Abuse of the appeals process (e.g., by repeatedly appealing moderation decisions, or more than once appealing moderation decisions which are obviously correct) may result in API/SDK revocations, account suspension or permanent bans.
Fairness & Values: We aim to moderate content fairly and responsibly, guided by principles of equity, safety, and respect for human rights. However, our moderation decisions are final.
Copyright Violations (DMCA): If someone is using your copyrighted material without consent, please file a report via our DMCA process. Repeat violations can lead to takedowns or account suspension.
