KLIPY API Terms of Service
As outlined below, we grant you permission to use our API solely for the purpose of building applications that integrate with KLIPY. You are solely responsible for supporting your own application users. Your application must include clear attribution - Download them here . You must not misrepresent the functionality of your application or your relationship with KLIPY (for example, by suggesting we sponsor or endorse your product). We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or revoke your API access at our discretion.
These API Terms (the “API Terms”) govern your access to and use of the application programming interfaces provided by KLIPY. These APIs are considered a component of the broader “Services” offered. By using the API, you also agree to be bound by KLIPY’s Terms of Service.
1. API License & Usage Restrictions
The API, along with all associated intellectual property, remains the exclusive property of KLIPY and its licensors. Subject to your compliance with these API Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable, worldwide license to access and use the API for the purpose of developing software applications that connect to KLIPY’s services (the "Applications").
You must not use content accessed through KLIPY to compile, build, or expand any database, directory, or collection of GIFs, Clips, Stickers, Memes, or AI-generated material. Similarly, you may not use our results to supplement or enhance any third-party collections. Combining KLIPY’s search results with results from other sources without our explicit written consent is prohibited.
You are entirely responsible for the Applications you build and for all support provided to your end users. Do not present us as a support contact for your application. We may deny or withdraw access to the API at any time, without prior notice. Access may also be unavailable from time to time due to outages, maintenance, or for other reasons at our sole discretion.
2. API Usage Constraints
You agree to design and implement your Applications within the technical and policy limitations of our API. This includes complying with any call rate limits or other usage caps that we may communicate to you. We reserve the right to control and limit the volume and frequency of API usage as we deem necessary.
We may update, modify, or replace the API at any time. It is your responsibility to ensure that your application remains compatible with the current version of the API. While we may provide advance notice of changes when feasible, we are not obligated to do so.
3. User Transparency
You must not mislead users about any aspect of your Application, including its source, functionality, or your relationship with KLIPY. All Applications must clearly indicate they are independently developed and not official KLIPY products or endorsed by KLIPY.
4. Use of KLIPY Trademarks
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable, global license to use KLIPY’s trademarks strictly for the purpose of promoting your Application’s integration with our API, in accordance with these API Terms.
You may not include KLIPY’s trademarks in your Application's name or branding, nor use them in any way that implies sponsorship or a misleading relationship. You must (i) visibly include “Powered by KLIPY” and our logo within your Application, and (ii) follow any brand usage guidelines we provide.
All goodwill generated by your use of our trademarks belongs solely to KLIPY. Aside from the license granted here, you obtain no ownership or other rights to KLIPY’s marks.
5. Content Attribution
You agree to provide proper attribution for all content retrieved via the API. Under no circumstances may you misrepresent the origin of content. Where attribution details (such as username or content source) are provided by KLIPY, you must display them clearly in your Application.
